I've been a hitcher, a celebrant, and ceremony maker since 2009, servicing the Yeppoon, Rockhampton and Capricorn Coast areas in Central Queensland and happy to travel. Elopements have given me some of my favourite ceremony memories over the years and I’d love to be your celebrant.
Married is married, however you choose to celebrate it! But Elopement ceremonies are certainly a little different to bigger wedding events. They are up close, intense and very intimate. You will want a celebrant you feel really comfortable and relaxed with, one who can share your laughter and tears when the only audience you have is each other, your witnesses and maybe your closest family and friends. Your questions will be a little different if you are planning to elope, just like your needs, wants and vision for the day will be intensely yours.
You can include your nearest and dearest- usually up to around 12 guests. You can have just the "legals only" ceremony or we can work to create an intimate and personal ceremony in which you can personalise the words, write your own vows and choose where you’d like the ceremony to take place. I also have some styled ceremony decor options available if you want to dress up your backyard venue or complement the stunning natural views at your ceremony location.
Note: Sunday, weekday, evening & morning bookings are welcome however, availability will be limited on Saturday afternoons.

Elopement FAQS
Is an Elopement the same as a Legals Only ceremony?
A Legals Only ceremony is just that- the celebrant says the legal words, the couple say the legal vows, the certificates are signed with 2 witnesses and you are married, takes less than 10 mins. The celebrant lodges the documents with the registry office, the marriage is registered and the marriage certificate is available for the couple.
An Elopement could be a Legals Only ceremony OR can include all the good stuff: the giving away, the I Do's, your personal vows, exchanging rings, and maybe a reading or a ritual.

Where can we elope?
Anywhere you want! You can choose your back yard, a local park, a spot that holds special signifance for you, or a beautiful travel destination. It's your choice.... here are some ideas
When can we elope?
After lodging your NOIM with your celebrant and waiting the required one month, you can marry on any day of the week and at any time of the day you choose. NOTE: My availability will be limited on Saturday afternoons.
